Casa Castanea is a wonderful 5 bedroom villa in Vale do Garrão, a small, peaceful area in the heart of the Algarve’s Golden Triangle. The villa is only a short 10 minutes walk from the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy and the famous Garrão (or commonly known as ‘Julia’s’) beach, with its fabulous golden sand, fantastic restaurants and water sports activities.
The villa is the ideal location for a family holiday, a golf trip or even a weekend away with the girls! The villa is set over two floors and boasts a wonderful, private south facing garden with a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool, which can be heated on request. There is a lovely alfresco dining area with a BBQ overlooking the pool area. The villa is very secure with a walled garden, electric front gate and drive with parking for 3 cars.
The restaurants, bars, entertainment and shops of the Vale do Lobo Praça and Quinta do Lago Shopping are only 5 minutes away by car. If you are feeling energetic, you can walk to the Vale do Lobo Praça in about 25 minutes!
"I stayed at Villa Castanea in July 2013 with my partner and 2 children and we had an amazing time. The Villa itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are an incredible size and extremely comfortable. The living areas also. The décor was tasteful and the outside terrace/garden and pool a wonderful retreat. My 2 boys were never out of the pool and loved every minute of their holiday there. Everything at the villa worked well and the staff and managing agent could not do enough for us. It is also in a great location for the beach, restaurants and shopping.
I could not recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back!!"
